Why me?

If you have to ask “Why me?”

When in your heart you have no glee

When the world is pouring its colossal drops

And you can’t handle the mess it has caused

When the sky doesn’t look blue again

When sunlight is not fresh but a strain

And you’d rather stay in

Lying in bed; covers up till chin

Then when the sun shines bright again

The lusture, the rainbow again attains

When you bid problems adieu

Please then ask, “Why me?too

  1. 🤧 such a good one. That’s so real though. People always tend to make a huge mess of stuff when they r going through hardships and ofc “the grass is always greener on the other side” but no one really thinks of the same question when they are happy. Uk this kinda reminds me of a verse that I read in hindi for school. It said that when you are sad you ask God for help. And u curse him and etc etc. But do you ever look to him when you are happy?

      1. I don’t remember the name of the verse 😂😅😅 but it was something by goru govind or whatever. Honestly I am glad I don’t remember 🤣 hindi has plagued me enough for ten years, and now I have finally given it up in 11-12 😅 what’s your second language in school?

  3. Oh wow Akshita! So true. We always question “why me?” when faced with adversaries, but no questions “why me?” or even feels simple gratitude when something good happens. I simply adore the poem. Lovely💕❤❤
