Away from eyes, I’ll do my happy dance
Away from eyes, I’ll take a risky chance
Away from eyes, I’ll sing my heart out
Away from eyes, I’ll click a photo with a pout
Away from eyes, I’ll write a love story
Away from eyes, I’ll rise to an imaginative glory
Away from eyes, I’ll wear jeans
Away from eyes, I’ll hit the mean
Away from eyes, I’ll take a walk barefoot
Away from eyes, I’ll illogically hoot
Away from eyes, I’ll cry if I want to
Away from eyes, I’ll laugh too
Away from eyes, I’ll be careless
Away from eyes, I’ll be fearless
But note it, it has to be away from eyes
As the eyes judge too much
What do you all think the eyes are here?👁🗨 Eager to hear all your interpretations !!
This poem was inspired by my fellow blogger @ frameofsoul’s poem, check it out here
This blew me away. Amazing piece. Liked the way you expressed how we hide our true self sometimes. Just found your blog. You have a lovely blog. 😊

It’s so beautifully written. Sometimes, it’s the fear of look and others thoughts which hold our wishes… So amazing, incredible piece….

I felt the eyes to be the judgemental thoughts of others, or maybe even our own self-doubts that restrict our actions largely! Wonderful words, Akshita!

This is so beautiful. We all crave for a place where we can be our true selves, not being judged for who we are❤

This is too good Akshi!! The inner conflict of dealing with judgement and embracing your true selves in front of others is so evident. Loved this a lot!❤

Finally you posted! 😀 long time!! Also whoa, what a poem! I could relate a good amount, but I would also say that sometimes, we shouldn’t care about the eyes 👀, we’ve got one life and we should try to live it as much as possible! Awesome poem, AK17 😃
