The Haiku Tag

Hey everyone!

Right, just remembered I am weird when it comes to intros so lets get along with this-

Rules-

  1. Tag Eva @album of amazing.
  2. Mention the person who tags you. I was tagged by Stara @ The Pool of Thoughts. Check out her blog everyone, she is amazing!! And I was also tagged by Dhriti @ The Tomboy Diaries. She too is an awesome blogger! Do check them out, you will not be dissapointed😁
  3. Add the rules to your post.
  4. Pick 2 topics to write 2 Haikus.
  5. Tag alteast 5 people.
  6. HAVE FUN!❤❤

Topics-

  1. Dogs.
  2. Fire.
  3. Sea.
  4. Nature.
  5. Music.

The topics I have chosen are Sea and Music. I have tried writing them in a way different than the usual 5/7/5 meter.

Sea

Deep beneath the blue tranquillity
A mother protects her children
From the floating, choking mess

Music

While travelling through blank spaces
The notes wrap me in a cardigan
Helping me remember my wildest dreams

I nominate:

Everyone who wants to do this!! Spread this and lets wallow in haikus<3

I would love to hear your interpretations of these small pieces! Lets talk in the comments!

  1. Vast,monochromatic sea,
    Whose glossy waters sparkle,
    While darkness reigns beneath.

    Warbling river races
    Through parched,drought afflicted deserts,
    Quenching its thirst.

(this is one of my views on music)

You know, responding to haikus is kinda interesting, when one’s responses are haikus themselves!

Thanks for the little challenge! Your haikus were really good. 🙂

Also akshi, there is high school magazine I work for. It is looking for more writers/artists/photographers. Would you be interested in joining? And don’t worry, it’s not a lot of work or anything. Let me know if you are interested and then we can continue on mail or WhatsApp, whatever you are comfortable with❤❤

    1. Thank you so much isha!😊

That sounds great! But actually I am not really comfortable sharing my mail id or ohone number online, so if there’s anyway I could communicate through you in WP, I’d be happy to contribute 😄
